IDE Systems Secures Place on Hypersonic Technologies & Capability Development Framework

IDE Systems is proud to announce its successful inclusion in the prestigious Hypersonic Technologies & Capability Development Framework (HTCDF). This framework, spearheaded by the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), is designed to fast-track the development of advanced hypersonic missile capabilities, a critical area of national defence innovation. With a potential value of up to £1 billion over seven years, this framework represents a significant opportunity for IDE and its network.

IDE joins a select group of organisations from both academia and industry, all working collaboratively within the eight-lot framework. This positions IDE to bid for contracts that will drive forward the rapid development of hypersonic technologies. Our extensive experience in delivering systems safety engineering, analysis and management, systems thinking, and systems engineering has earned us a place in three key lots of this framework.

With many SMEs entering onto the framework, this initiative underscores the MOD's dedication to fostering innovation and agility within the UK's defence supply chain.

Ian Hobson, Managing Director of IDE Systems, remarked, “The key part here is the pace at which the MOD wishes to bring this capability to life. For SMEs like ours, which can be agile and responsive, this framework offers a tremendous opportunity to contribute to our nation's defence. We are excited to support our country by leveraging our expertise and innovative approaches to meet the ambitious goals set by the MOD.”
